WHO  ARE  WE?

Covenant Presbyterian Church is a member of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC) denomination and has a mission to advance the Gospel (Philippians 1:12). Our area of mission is fourfold: Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8), with Jerusalem (our immediate North Park neighborhood) as our first priority. We say “We have good news for you,” that is, the good news of Jesus Christ.

Our worship services on Sunday mornings are at 8:45 and 10:30 a.m. The first service is a contemporary service and the second is traditional, with everything - including the messages - being different in each. We have Sunday School classes for youth and children during the first service and Children’s Church during the second. SAM (Sports and Music) Club is for school-age children and meets at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday afternoons. Teens is an activity for junior-high and senior-high students which takes place from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday evenings.

We have many opportunities for fellowship and ministry for all ages. Small groups meet for prayer and/or Bible study throughout the week. Choir practice and Praise Ringers (handbell choir) rehearsal is on Thursday evenings. There are also opportunities for service in drama or music or at the coffee cart.
